Annual Peabody Heights Coat Drive At The Book Thing 3001 Vineyard Lane When convenient, please deliver your gently used coats and winter clothing to The Book Thing for our annual coat drive. Last year, 700 coats were donated to various schools, hospitals, and associations that provide winter coats for children and families. All styles of winter coats and winter clothing are accepted. Thank you for your assistance in promoting this cause to help those in need. Click the map above for directions to The Book Thing. The Book Thing is open 9:00am – 6:00pm Saturdays and Sundays – at all other times, donations can be deposited into the waterproof bins just outside of the garage door. When they are open, please give your donations to the volunteers at the gate.
