Annually, Rogationist College celebrates MathEngScie (Math, English and Science) week in the month of September. This year, these three subject areas conducted the following activities: Blockbuster, Film Viewing, Symbo and a singing competition centered on the theme “Math, English, and Science in everyday life.” The Math subject area came up with the Blockbuster activity to enhance the students’ academic potential by exposing them to the different questions under time pressure, to develop students’ critical and analytical thinking skills, and to let students enjoy solving mathematical problems. Whereas, the Science subject area held the SYMBO game to help students appreciate science in a fun and innovative way. For the English subject area, they let students watch films to gain knowledge on the different literary genre transformed into a movie. G7 watched Oliver Twist and Despicable Me; G8, Arabian Nights; G9, Merlin; 4th Year, Les Miserables.
