Anon: LOL @Bound Brook Bound Brook police have declared a state of emergency and have designated all roads as snow emergency routes. This means any vehicles left on any street will be towed. They suggest parking on lawns, sharing driveway space with neighbors or using one of the public lots at Tea street, the train station lots or the local parks. Regardless of where you live it is a good idea to make sure that streets are clear so that plows will be able to push the high volume of snow. Bound Brook and other municipalities also ask that if you have a fire hydrant near your property, please dig it out so that in case of fire the fire departments can access the water needed to respond. Travel at this time is already dangerous and the roads have been worsening since mid afternoon. Some towns have already issued travel bans and expect that tomorrow will be impassable for all but emergencies. If you need any other supplies be sure to get them asap.
