Anon asks Hello, our doctor today told me our 18mth old daughter has 2 types of parasites in her stool and has given me a script for Flagyl to treat them. The parasites are dientamoeba and blastocystis. Im mortified she even has them and can only think its come from her grandparents home where there are 6 dogs free to roam the house and often soil in it. There are no animals in our home and we havent been to any farms/zoo. In the initial research Ive done, my confidence is low in this medication and the side effects worry me. So my question is has anyone had experience with these parasites and in successfully getting rid of them? Id really love to deal with this as quickly and naturally for my little girl as I can, she has a sore tummy and quite a sore bottom ;( Many thanks mamas xx
