Anon asks Hi I would really like anybody with any feed back whos gone through a similar situation please. I went for my nuchal fold scan just the other day where my risk factor results came back for Downs syndrome for 1 in 459 which was classed as high risk for my age being 24 with my bloods, an history ect put into the equation. They sent me for a second more detailed scan to ensure the first results were correct which came back the same an the specialist couldnt find a normal nasal bone present just a small nasal bone but not as per normal. I have two options wait a wk for baby to grow a little more an go an get another scan to look for a nasal bone or have the igenescreen blood test done which will test for Downs syndrome with a 99% accuracy result & will take up to 3 wks to get back. Has anybody experienced this an what was your outcome. Thanks for reading xx
