Anon asks Im 22 weeks pregnant with my first baby and feeling extremely confused about whether I should be getting the flu shot or not... Ive never had the flu shot or the flu before, but have been told that being pregnant puts you at higher risk of catching influenza. Ive also been told that the vaccine is completely safe for unborn babies, but I cant help but question whether thats entirely true? If I dont get it though, am I putting my baby at risk? Would love to hear from others who have also had to make this decision. Thank you.
