Anon has asked: DD 8 months is exclusively breastfed. Shes perfectly healthy & happy. However, I think were in a routine that is no longer working for us - hubby. & I are sleep deprived. We need to gently transition her to a new routine but dont know how! Ive never been able to put her to sleep without feeding or rocking to sleep. She ends up in our bed every night and uses me as a dummy for majority of this time. Ive loved doing this up until lately. She has 3 teeth so my breasts are sore all the time, shes getting too heavy for me to rock to sleep & Im getting back problems. My partner and I are getting very little sleep and are run down. I dont mind waking up to her for a feed a couple of times but she isnt content with this, she wont go back to sleep unless she is feeding. I wish I could put her to sleep in her cot and let her self settle but cant see how I would do this without it being traumatic for everyone.. Please help us with some suggestions that worked for your family
