Anon has asked: I have a 4 month old baby that is incredibly hard to get to sleep. Sometimes I can only get him down for one nap a day, other days I will get him down for only 10 minutes at a time. I have tried feeding to sleep, rocking and patting. It all worked for a while but then he cottons on and wont sleep. He is a healthy boy and isnt unsettled, just when its nap time. The only sure thing that gets him off is a walk in the carrier or pram. But I cant carry him because my back still isnt in working order since labour. The only thing I havent tried is controlled crying and Im desperate not to. But I dont know what else to do to try and get him sleeping a bit better through the day. Any suggestions please. Thank you!!
