Anon has asked: Please do not judge our choices, Im just looking for helpful advice. We currently bed share with our almost eight month old. She sleeps really well, barely stirs to nurse and then goes back to sleep, and we get cuddle time. That being said, she is very active and crawly. Tonight we had friends over and were watching her on the baby monitor. She woke up and immediately started crawling over pillows to the edge of the bed. I ran in there and stopped her just in time. She is the type of baby who will definitely crawl off. Im now in bed with her while my husband hangs out with our friends. I want to get her a crib tomorrow, and put it in our room, because Im concerned for her safety. Will you please share any tips for a smooth transition? Ive been nursing her to bed every night and just leaving her where she falls asleep because it seems whenever I try to move her she wakes up. Thanks!
