Anon question from one of our moms, can you help? My 8 month old - TopicsExpress

Anon question from one of our moms, can you help? My 8 month old is suffering from bad eczema in the past few wks. Brought her to the GP at the start of it and she confirmed it was eczema and prescribed Daktacort for the face area as it was quite bad at the time. This did clear up the face area and it is not too bad in this area since. However, now she has it in big patches on her entire back and all around her neck, scalp, chest and belly. I noticed today that she had cut herself from itching during the night and was bleeding in spots. She has a bath every night with a few drops of pure aloe vera, we did try porridge oats in the bath to no avail. We have tried Oilatum, Elave and now MooGoo products but there is no major improvement. She is on Nutramigen formula as we suspected she had an intolerance to cows milk protein from early on as she was very unsettled. So, we do not give her any dairy in her diet, apart from a bit of butter on toast some days. Looking for advice or suggestions if you have any? Is it just one of these things that will go in time or should we get her allergy/intolerance tested or is she too young yet? Any thoughts welcome. Many thanks in advance.
