Anong Daang Matuwid? The Forex van that delivered a cargo for me from California was stopped and apprehended by a team of Highway Patrol group (HPG) right in front of the Longlong police station at about 1:30 pm today. The driver of the Forexx van stopped at the police station to ask direction towards my house some 100 meters away when the HPG team accosted the driver and helper. According to the HPG officer, the Forex van was out of its operational area. The policemen who were at the scene tried to intervene by saying mga kabaru, pagbigyan na ninyo, tutal holiday ngayon, but the HPG team insisted on issuing a ticket. Because it would be a terrible abala for the driver to be following-up the fine at the HPG headquarters in Baguio since he is from Manila, he asked the HPG team kung anung remedyo. The HPG team asked for 500 pesos. A policeman came to the house and told me what was going on. I went to talk to the HPG team but when I arrived at the police station they already left taking the 500 pesos with them. I repaid the Forex driver. To the HPG commander covering la Trinidad, Benguet and his men, napakawalang hiya kayo. Ganito ba ang sabi ni Pnoy. Nasaan ang daang matuwid?
