Anonymous: I have a question for you all. What do you guys feel about the topic on Hmong kids bullying Hmong kids? Today, I found out a cousin of mine was bullied in highschool which caused her to drop out of school. The people who bullied her were Hmong kids from JROTC. She had no one to talk to and she was very scared of going back to school so she never attended class anymore. I just do not get it. Why do Hmong teenagers bully other Hmong kids? Like seriously, are we not supposed to help one another? Maybe it is a teenager thing but to talk about someone when they are right there and act like as if they are not is just so wrong. To spread false rumors and talk about a person just because of the way they dress and look like-how can you not be ashamed of yourself for doing this to someone? I mean yea, everyone does that BUT why do it in front of a person on purpose? I do not understand at all. What do you guys think? I feel like traditional Hmong parents lack knowledge about bullying. They would say, Go to school and get a good education. But I feel like they do not really know that their child can be a victim of bullying. This can make the child feel like they cannot talk to anyone about it. No one should be a victim to bullying and nor do they deserve to be bullied.
