Anonymous Question: I have had epilepsy for about 4 years. It was fully diagnosed at age 22, and they believe its stress induced. In that entire time, although the frequency and intensity have changed, my symptoms and auras have been consistent. In the past 2-3 months I have experienced auras, symptoms, and seizures unlock any I have previously, including visual hallucinations, and loss of bladder control. I dont currently have a neurologist, as I havent had coverage the entire time Ive had epilepsy, but I was recently approved. My question is, what can cause such a drastic change, have any of you experienced such changes, and what is your advice. The dosage of my medication, 500 mg of Extended Release Depakote has changed over the years, but my symptoms havent fluctuated at all, and certainly not to this degree. Any feedback and advice is greatly appreciated.
