Anonymous post, can you help? My DS is 13 months. He developed a nasty wheeze and cough in January and was diagnosed with bronchiolitis. 2 weeks later he had tonsillitis and swollen glands. He has had a persistent cough ever since. I have been to the doctor every few weeks since and they have treated him for everything from reflux to asthma. Following a recent X-ray a Paediatric Reg said he had signs of a viral infection in his chest but my gp yesterday dismissed that. He is now on Becotide and Singulair and I give him a nasal spray and use a humidifier. GP heard him coughing but said his chest is clear. He vomited a lot of phlegm twice yesterday and literally coughed most of the night. He coughed violently until 3.30am and started again at 6.30am. I am at my wits end. Anyone have a similar situation or any advice please? If you would like a question posted anonymously, please message our page. More advice on deciphering your childs cough here bit.ly/1rJqhTC
