Anonymous shares: I have a 3 year old almost 4 year old will be in August. I have been told he is autistic but I have also been told he has characteristics of being autistic but is not. I am torn because medically he is but the his preschool who spends everyday with him says hes not. I am now being told I should get him diagnosed but I really dony want that label on him unless I am absolutely certain. How did you moms handle your kiddos being diagnosed? I have been told that he can get alot more early intervention with this diagnosis. I am aware he has several characteristics but he is getting ot and speech therapy. What more would this diagnosis get him vs if I wait a little longer to diagnose. Sorry for so long I am just so torn on what to do....
