Anonymous ( the person who wrote this) "Why the need of a God to do good and spread love? Isn’t it better to do good things because you understand why it is “good” than just because some script told you to do so? Why non-believers are for you “lost souls”? I think non-believers are not some people who “doesn’t want” or categorically “refuse” to believe in god, but people who simply “doesn’t need” to believe in god to make sense out of life. To me, believers are the lost souls: they are lost and they need to follow an imaginary supra-naturalistic guide to make sense out of their lives. To me, someone who depends on somebody else to find is way is the one that is lost. Love, compassion, kindness, hope and all other “good” attitudes that promote the holy scribes are all human feelings that anybody, even atheists, can learn to grow and share. There’s no mystery to that! Why the need of a magical story to explain and live that? Let’s live life for OUR selves, not for an imaginary guy! But why atheism instead of agnostism: By saying that anybody have the right to believe whatever they want in their own little private corner, the agnostism position make me sad because it weaken the sense of community that is essential for the well being of any human individual, and moreover it simply kill the idea of dialogue and so the possibility of understanding each others. That’s why an open atheism needs to be discussing seriously on public places. From my point of view, atheism, unlike many perceives, don’t try to deny or disprove the existence of God (it’s as impossible as to prove it), no, it only states that, on the basis that we can’t know it or say anything (provable) about it, we’re better stop bothering about doing so cause we simply don’t need that kind of explanation to act morally. And, by eliminating that need for a transcendental dictating link, it invites us to definite consensually, in full bright light of rational thought, what should be and how should we lived that moral behavior. As we’re all human beings, and so forth living beings, we’re all beautiful beings. But, as we are living beings, we are natural beings that can be cruel and mean by times. So it’s important to keep talking lucidly about it and not just observe some readymade solutions set in a book. …hoping to start a dialogue here… (there’s probably some big syntax errors in my text and I feel sorry for it : English is my second language)"
