Anonymous vs the Ferguson Police Department and the KKK. Sometimes its mind-blowing to think about what a strange world this has become. Heres the quick version: - KKK threatens to use lethal force against Ferguson protesters - Anonymous responds with DDoS attacks on KKK sites and hacking social networks to expose KKK members. - Anonymous claims that on Thursday night, they will release information tying officer Darren Wilson and his girlfriend (also a Ferguson police officer) to the KKK. - Anonymous allegedly begins receiving death threats after receiving media attention, and a video is released making a statement, the bottom line of which is their decision to avoid possible exposure of their source by withholding the information... for now. After much deliberation, we have decided as important as this information was, we will not endanger the life of any person. We believe the information to be too specific to this person to release to the public. We will instead, hold this information until we can connect the dots ourselves, without putting innocent lives at risk. We are confident that as we continue to expose members of the terrorist organization TAKKKK, we will no doubt connect them to Ferguson Law enforcement on our own. Keeping in mind that Anonymous is... well, anonymous, Ive (finally) learned that in spite of all the previous actions that have come to fruition, you can never tell what theyre holding until all the cards are down... if they do come down. In this case, if what they claim is true, Im relieved by their decision. As often as I usually support blowing whistles, if Darren Wilson is shown to have connections with the KKK, for the sake of St. Louis and elsewhere, perhaps right now is not the time.
