Another Beautiful Sunny Day around the Central Coast. Temperatures - TopicsExpress

Another Beautiful Sunny Day around the Central Coast. Temperatures this weekend will be near or Record Highs, Salinas could see 80 degrees, think about that in January. So what is going on with our weather? I have been on KRML Radio on the Pub Talk last Wednesday and spoke at the Castroville Rotary Club this noon. I will be helping with the SPCA Telethon Saturday on KION from 6 to 10 pm. I have additional speaking engagements scheduled so I will keep you posted. Here is the Bottom Line as I see it: We are back in the dry weather pattern very similar to what we had last Winter and have been all month and will be into February. Notice again cold air and cold storms in the Mid West and Eastern U.S. The upper ridge continues along the West Coast. The dry weather pattern is forecast to continue, It appears not much if any rainfall next week, but a weak upper low might bring a few showers either Tue or Wed. Longer range shows no major weather systems into the first week of February. The Cold air continues in the east. Longer range models begin to break the pattern down by the second week of February..TIME WILL TELL HERE. The main issue is the Drought continues. We are in the month when we should get the most rainfall and it might be completely dry in many areas for the month of January. I hope you will check us out on Saturday night on KION & donate some money to help the SPCA...I hope my voice holds up...that will be something to see. Have a great weekend. Enjoy the great weather & Be safe.
