Another Chance at True Love Part 24 After the concert we were back stage taking pictures and all the other good stuff. We even got a few goodie bags..I was looking through one and found a pair of panties...Ew I sighed putting the bag down and looking over at Chris and Trey who were taking pictures... I looked up and saw a girl standing in front of me. She had the biggest smile on her face. ???:May I please take a picture with you?? Me:Yeah beautiful. She blushed and I stood up. She hugged me and we took the picture. She kissed my cheek and left. I started signing a few things. ???:Uncle August! I soon felt my legs being pulled on. I looked down and saw my nieces. I smiled pulling them into a hug. Me:Who did yall get here?? AmaiyaNana Me:Where is Nana?? KayKay: She went to the bathroom... Me:Who let yall in here?? Chay:The big man at the door... I laughed and turned to John.. Me:Aye John can you take them and find my mom and send them to my dressing room please?? John:Will do sir.. They left with John and I finished up with all the fans... When I was done I went back to my dressing room and heard Chay and KayKay fighting. Me:Aye aye aye whats going on?? KayKay:She took my doll! I sighed shutting the door and my phone rung... Me:Hold on yall I really gotta take this.. I walked out and answered.. (Phone convo) Me:Hello.. Nevah:Hey baby.. I could hear the tiredness in her voice.. Me:Whats the matter?? Nevah:Nothing I just put the twins down and I wanted to hear your voice.... I smiled... Me:My nieces and my mom came to visit me... Nevah:Really?? baby thats so nice... Me:I want my nieces to meet my kids... There was a long pause on the phone because one of the twins started crying and me guessing I think its Nicole.. Nevah:Sorry baby Nicole was crying. I could hear Nicole making noises on the other end of the line.. Me:Did you hear me baby?? Nevah:Yeah baby I think its a great Idea for the girls to meet the twins.. Me:Alright... I heard a loud sigh.. Nevah:Baby I have to take the twins to the hospital.... Me:Why whats the matter?? Nevah:Nicole is running a high fever...I will call you when im on my way to the hospital and tell you what they said... Me:Alright babe... I heard the other line go dead and then a beeping sound telling me the she hit end. I sighed walking back into the dressing room and the girls where all playing and my mom was on her phone...She looked up at me and her face washed with a worried look.. Mama Sheila: August baby are you ok?? Me:Yeah um ma can you know find a day and go and meet with Nevah... She nodded but I knew she wasnt gonna drop the worried look.. Mama:Whats the matter?? Me:Nicole is running a fever...and Nevah is taking them both to the hospital and im not there... Mama:Well if you want I can take the girls and we can be already on our way back...we should be there tomorrow around noon... I nodded.. Me:Please and thank you.. Amaiya: Uncle August are you ok?? I picked her up and she kissed my cheek and I smiled.. Me:Yeah baby girl yall are going to go meet your baby cousins.. I heard the girls scream and I laughed... Me:Nana is going to take you.. KayKay:Are you coming too?? Me:No baby girl I cant I said as I put Amaiya down and the girls ran to hug me. Its been hard since Melvin died but I know for a fact hes proud of me and the girls. I did it all for him.. Mama:Alright girls we gotta go..tell Uncle August bye... Girls:Bye Uncle August Me:Bye ladies.. They each kissed my cheek and left. I hugged my mama and gave her a kiss on the cheek and she left. I sighed and waited for us to leave. ~4 hours later~ I got a call from Nevah and I jumped up out of my sleep and Answered. (Phone convo) Me:Baby what did they say... Nevah:well shes fine she they said she must have swallowed some of the water when she was born..they gave her some antibiotics.. But they are gonna keep her over night and so Ima be here all night and they said she can be able to go home around noon tomorrow if everything is ok... Me:Alright babe keep my posted my mom is on her way and said they should be there around noon so Ima call you when she calls me to let me know.. Nevah:Alright baby...You can go back to sleep now.. I chuckled.. Me:How you know I was sleep?? Nevah:I know my baby...You sound tired and I dont need anything happening to you right now.. I smiled... Me:Ill be alright Im on the phone with you until yall go home.. and I meant every word... ~Next day around noon~ I was still on the phone with August... I kept telling him to get some rest before he be super tired..but he kept telling me no... Me:Well they said she can go home and you Mr.August need to get you some rest babe.. He sighed... August:Alright lets make a deal when you get home ill get off the phone and get some sleep.. I rolled my eyes.. Me:Boy you are so hard headed...Lord I put Nicole in her car seat and headed home after signing her out. Once we got home I told August and he got off the phone. I got out and heard screaming. I turned around and saw Augusts mom and his niece...I smiled shhing them... Me:The twins are asleep... Everyone looked so tired themselves I opened the door and we all walked in. I put the twins in my room and came back down and saw everyone laying on the couch. I giggled.. Me:KayKay, Chay, and Amaiya yall can go upstairs to the guest room..e on follow me. We walked upstairs and I gave them something to chance into and I turned on the t.v for them and they went to sleep. I came back down stairs and saw Ms.Sheila about to fall asleep...I gently tapped her and told her to follow me. I gave her the room next to the girls and went down stairs and put in the code and went to my room and watched t.v... It was quite and I saw so tired and Amaiya came in my room...She looks like August. I smiled sitting up.. Amaiya:Can I lay with you?? please.. I giggled nodding and she ran to my bed jumping on it and laying next to me... Me:Where are the others?? Amaiya:Asleep...I couldnt sleep with them they sleep too wild.. I chuckled and nodded... Me:Well you are welcome to sleep in here if you want... She looked over at me and then the twins... Amaiya:Uncle August is very lucky... I looked over at her.. Me:why is that?? Amaiya:Because yall make each other happy... I smiled as she laid next to me and then on my chest. We both soon fell asleep.... Tbc How cute was this?!?! ~True to ya self
