Another Classic Racially Profiling/Stereotyping situation. Last Fall I was heading to Normal Community High School for a soccer game against our cross town rival. As I was driving East on Raab road a truck with two young white ladies flew past me. I was quickly drawn to their NOBAMA sticker but I refocused on the big game at hand. As we traversed passed main street the traffic slowed and I began to observe that they were continually glancing back at me. I continued past Prairieland Elementary School still noticing their glances. They took a right on Towanda and I did the same since I was still en route to NCHS. They became a little concern. They took a left at Shelbourne and I did as well. Now they were slightly panicking. This continued on Route 66. They took a right at Airport and I took a right as well since I was still on my way to NCHS. Clearly, they were in a frantic. They took a left at Eastview church and I did as well since NCHS is east of Eastview. These ladies were severely panicking. To get away from me they turned into the high school but unfortunately for them that was my destination. They went to the back of the school behind the band truck and I continued towards the soccer fields. At this point they were screaming. I nodded my head and went on my way.
