Another CrossFit Games season has come to an end. We at CrossFit Taranis have had a little time to decompress and reflect on how things went this year. We were very proud of our teams at Regionals. Team Thunder with a 16th place finish and Team Taranis with a podium 2nd place finish. The season wrapped up on the global stage with Team Taranis’ 20th place finish at the CrossFit Games. It is very important to us to thank those that made the entire season fun and successful: Thank you so much to the community at CrossFit Taranis. ALL of our members work hard every day and challenge each other while focusing on excellence in their athletic endeavors. This commitment makes for an outstanding training environment and atmosphere! All of your support both personally and (for those of you that enjoy the silent auction and other fundraisers) financially is a massive contributor to our successes. Thank you to our corporate sponsors: 1. JaktRx –Your financial support and support with nutritional supplementation makes such a big difference to the stress leading up to, and recovery during the challenges of the CF Games. 2. Cane Estates Winery – Your recognition of the athletic and financial strain to attend an event like this is profound and we appreciate the financial support! We hope to be able to help you expand your brand as you expand the markets that you sell your exceptional wines. Notable names to thank: 1. Matt Hilton – You are a steady athlete and your performance at Regionals was a major contributor to us being able to participate at the CF Games 2014. You also understand like no other what it means to be a team player. It does not go un-noticed. 2. Dan Graham, Adam Nicolson, Myriam Barreda, Christine Gatherum and Alicia Connors – Being the alternate is a tough job but being prepared to step in is extremely important and as a coach it is such a relief to know there are athletes that are willing to sit on the bench to give us our best shot at a competition. 3. Sam Dewett – Thank you for volunteering your time in helping Team Taranis with gymnastics skills. Finally a big thank you to all the athletes in the competitor development program as well as our amazing group of coaches at Taranis. Thank you to Sean Janzer for giving his time to drive CDP and contribute to our dedication to making absolutely everyone in our little box the best that they can be. Very proud coaches, Reed Mackenzie and Vanessa Sullivan
