Another GREAT teaching day at Dance Elektra Performing Arts Centre. Today was the fourth class. A number of the dancers who were in the first class asked if they could stay and take the second class. Of course I said OK. During the second class those dancers sparkled like gems. The second class is sufficiently slower than the first class, so those students could apply the info from the first class to the second class material! Now that I think is extraordinary. These young ladies, their parents, their ballet teachers and the guiding lights of Dance Ekektra, Theresa Elek Schoemer and Roanne Mulvey Morse can all take a bow for having produced such extraordinary students. See why I LOVE teaching there??
