Another Monday arrives as we advance towards Christmas. Things have gotten amped up in the office. It was pretty slow for several weeks, now everyone is trying to squeeze 10 pounds of stink in a five pound bag. Additionally, there are all the personal holiday activities contributing to the sense of time urgency. I have been allowing several people to get on my nerves lately and it must stop. There is nothing I can do to change them and I am operating in their world. The attitudes just make it harder to do my job, but it is up to me to manage both. The difficult part about my job is A, getting to work, and B, dealing with all the corporate insecurities. I can do the work of graphic deign and print production in my sleep. I do not want to loose sight of all I have to be thankful for. This time last year, I was lucky to see another Christmas, as such, I am lucky to be seeing this one. I must keep that in my heart and mind at all times. My heart and spirit are at their happiest when I am in a state of thanksgiving. I must remember that in the days ahead. So, I thank God for this day and ask Him to lead and guide me in the days ahead. I am thankful for my life and that I have a job to go to and a way to get there. I am thankful for all my loved ones and many blessings. Mostly, I am thankful for Christmas and what it really means. ~John 3:16~ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
