Another New Year. Another auspicious day. Another dilemma. What is the best way to wish Happy New Year to all your friends through Facebook? - Just post a greeting in my Timeline and expect everyone of my friend to like it or comment on it. But ... does it look good? Feels like standing in a crowd and shouting Happy New Year - Post a greeting in my Timeline and tag all my friends .... that will be awkward where everyone will be disturbed whenever a new wish comes in. - Write on the Timeline of each and every one of my friends. Ah ... not preferred when you have too much friends - Send a private message to each and every one of my friends. Hmm ... will have the same problem as above. - Start a conference inviting all the friends and then just send them the greetings message. Again ... awkward as everyone will be disturbed and if you have disconnected friends, like office, family etc., it will be strange. - A novel option will be to create a group with all my friends and send a common greetings. However, there will be the problem of disconnected friends and what to do with the group after the auspicious days. - Another interesting option will be to create an event and invite all your friends. This can become a bit personal wish as the invite will be sent to everyone individually and everyone can respond back. So, what will be the best option? I prefer to fall back to the earlier days. Remember 123greetings, bluemountain, americangreetings etc.? Now these e-greeting providers have app for Facebook. You can just select the picture, add your wishes and then choose the friends you want to send. This way, it becomes easy and more personalized. By the way - if you are already doing this or thinking what the hell this post is for, then, please stop staring at your computer and start celebrating :-) Happy 2015!
