Another Open Letter to Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi Sir I should congratulate you on the concept of todays programme. Though, your speech seemed a little, how shall I say this, forced. Not your usual style. A lot has been said about the time of the interaction. Totally justified. I would rather talk about the idea. Good thought but pretty flat. Also, very misdirected. You should have had this on Childrens Day. And asked for students of Primary and Middle school only, while at it. Then you wouldnt have to worry about the childrens questions not being age appropriate. If you interact with students of 9th to 12th, and expect them to be dumb and unaware, I worry about the kind of next generation well be turning out. I worry what our children are learning when they hear the Prime Minister telling them that Global Warming is not real, just faulty perception. Besides, if you were serious about this being a part of Teachers Day celebrations, dont you think an interaction with teachers would have been more appropriate? All in all, I think this move seemed to have back fired a bit. A very concerned teacher
