Another Snap Send Solve good news story. A few weeks ago I reported that there are no visible rectangles which you can normally position your wheel on and be detected like any vehicle at traffic lights, when approaching Old Coach Road T intersection heading West from Varsity Lakes. I use this route to get to Springbrook. As a cyclist, you simply cannot trigger the lights. The GCCC sent me a prompt reply and advised that this was managed by Department of Transport and Main Roads, and they had forwarded my query on, which I then thought I would not hear from them. Well they proved me wrong today, by advising they have sent a worker to increase the sensitivity and sent me a design diagram pointing out where the inductive loop is placed. The more of us that report issues using this app, the better our roads will be.
