Another Sunday in the South... we will not be going to The Creek. this morning.. I dont think he is quite ready.... I got some much needed sleep last night and he rested not much sleep...We are sitting here this morning and I showed him a picture of my friend Wanda White Carter and her group at the Gamecock game.... Brought back a sweet memory to him of Eddie Carters Uncle Dennis Carter and he is laughing about it and that makes my heart happy to hear him actually laugh out loud... It was a memory with Steve, Dennis and my brother, Chris Patrick when they were all working at Conso.... They will remember....of course, he had to hold his pillow to his stomach so he would not bust a stitch..He was smiling as he got to have a scrambled egg and a piece of toast.....He has not had anything to eat since Wednesday...For the ones that got to enjoy his entertaiment coming off the anesthesia, it was not the cold cuts. but just as soon as he can we are gonna get him some cold cuts......We are on the road to recovery and for this we are grateful... We will both miss going to church this morning but we know alll the people at The Creek will miss us too....May you all have a blessed Lords Day..... Love, Peace & Soul......
