Another Tawny rescue by The Owls Trust in Lancashire today. A member of the public called the RSPCA who in turn called Ian to conduct the rescue. Once rescued, the owl (well call it Rocky as we hope itll be a fighter) was taken to see Ian at Pennine Vets who gave a full health check confirming there is a broken wing. Weak, exhausted and dehydrated by its ordeal Rocky will be fighting for its life (and hopefully winning). The next 24 hours will be critical and hopefully Rocky will make it through. Well keep you updated! Weve attached a couple of pictures showing the start of Rockys on-going care.
