Another Toronto release is MR. TURNER, so if Inherent Vice isn’t your thing check out this historical biopic about British painter JMW Turner. The film chronicles the time in his life when, affected by his father’s death, his paintings began to take leave of form and become more abstract. It’s one of the best reviewed films of the season and as far as historical biopics go it looks like it will be more interesting then most.
