Another Update. I went back to Kemptonpark Police Station today and met with Brigadier Marx. He would gladly meet with us all and at the same time suggested that we get the the various CPF Commitee members in Kemptonpark to also attend. I told him that most of us on here including myself does not know our Community Police Forums and as a matter of fact do not even know the extend of exactly what they do, etc. The bottom line is that we the tax paying public want to meet with the Police and ask questions which needs to be answered by the Police themselves. Brigadier Marx has got no objection to this and he will personally answer and speak to us. It is now up to us to contact the Kemptonpark Community Police Forum and ask them to set up this meeting with the Police where all of us in Kemptonpark can attend. Should we not get feed-back from the CPF then he will be willing to speak to all the concerned residents nevertheless. For this to work well, I do however think the Kemptonpark Community Police Forum must take the lead and set up this meeting with the Police where we all can attend. Ideally this meeting should still happen this week...............Just my opinion. John Roodt [072 998 3493]
