Another argument you might like to run by those who are supporting the rape of our planet under the guise of fracking: Fracking is purported to be necessary in order to extract natural gas, aka methane. In 1910 the French chemist Paul Sabatier invented a process to create methane from CO2 and hydrogen using a nickel, ruthenium or alumina catalyst. There are a number of well proven methods of doing the same using water and CO2 sustainabily using solar power. In fact it seems to be an excellent way to smooth out the availability of power in a solar or wind power installation, where excess power obtained during sunny/windy periods can be stored as methane. So the agenda is not the stated one of ensuring cheap and plentiful natural gas, rather it is to create all the chaos we know results from fracking. In other words, they really are out to kill you and your children by destroying the environment.
