According to Kocurek, the only people that Perry could have been referring to as being “held to account” are the grand jurors, ... Because their talking about allegations of criminal intimidation in a case that is related to charges of criminal intimidation. The underlying case alleges that Rosemary Lehmberg was the victim of intimidation by Perry in an effort to force her to resign from her role as a prosecutor (District Attorney) for the county of Travis in Texas. That sounds like a strong case. This article characterizes one public statement by Perry as a veiled threat based solely on the opinion of Judge Kocurek that Perry could only have been referring to the grand jurors. That sounds like a pretty weak assertion to me. Perhaps Perrys statement is worthy of the Judges admonishment and its not like shes adding additional charges or officially holding Perry in contempt. So I dont fault her for issuing this admonishment. However this article at samuel-warde (Liberal Unite) is a muddle mess.
