With a 9 to 1 majority of Americans opposing any job or benefit concessions to undocumented workers (read that: lawbreakers who got here by breaking the law now being sponsored by a law breaking president who has no respect for the law). Sidebar: When I moved to Oregon in 2010 with my son and oldest daughter the State of Oregon couldnt see a way to give my daughter in-state tuition rates for any OR college or university for my American born daughter, who was already working and paying her fair share of taxes (to say nothing or how much Dear Old Dad had paid in the previous 42 years, not to mention his service as a Vietnam veteran), while offering that same in-state tuition to illegal aliens. Now, you tell me... is there something wrong with this picture? The GOP is squandering a chance to clearly tell the world that We, The People, will NOT tolerate the illegal entry of illegal immigrants by illegal means into the U.S.A. This will be very popular with citizens, but only if the Republicans make it clear that Obamas executive order amnesty will not only steal jobs from Americans, but from their children and childrens children. It will also result in work permits, Social Security and Medicare to 5 million illegals who will be a burden, not a benefit, to those programs. The position of the Republican Party, that of lesser of two evils, is tenuous at best. The party faces extinction if they dont get with the program and honor those who voted for them and the positions the represented as being theirs during this last election. One more betrayal is all it will take to cause serious problems, and they had best heed this warning.
