Another busy but good day here. Love our Harmony Healing for Animals days. Victoria arrived while I was poo picking Chadd and Willows meadow but she just carries on now, doesnt need me in the way anymore :D Such a foggy morn but comforting with it, muffling outside sounds and surrounding us in a quiet blanket of wonderful scents from the essential oils. Just Pete and I this morning but the work was done easily nough, the difference dry ground makes. Victoria did a session of AC with Eric. Exactly what was expected came out of it; its so strong, his feeling of complete loss and bewilderment and fear that when he voiced it all to Victoria I wasnt at all surprised. We now know what to do and how to support him. This afternoon he was very playful and Victoria, youll be so thrilled, he came over and took carrot from hand and allowed a scratch to his neck and face. Big positive steps forward for a little lad who less than 1 month ago had so much fear. I carried on doing the dig out of deep litter this morning and this afternoon with extra hands on site its done ...well one side of the big barn anyway, Ill begin the other side tomorrow. Over the weekend weve got some division fencing to get in place as we allow the pony herd to stretch their legs a bit onto the bottom of themiddle meadow, and with no rain forecast for at least 2 weeks, the ground will stand the onslaught now. Midges a-plenty this evening but the temps are to drop once sundown has come so the old boys are back in their rugs ready. Today has been lovely, the sanctuary is
