Another busy day for Tony at Shepherd Center. Every day sees more improvement. He got to meet another patient from Tupelo Ms ,Hayden Grant ,that has a C6 injury and he walked out of Shepherd today. It was so nice meeting him and his family. He was such an inspiration to us. Tony has started feeding himself at least one meal a day for therapy. Thats hard work for Tony ,but he doesnt get discouraged when his food doesnt make it to his mouth. He just laughs & keeps on trying. What a testament to patience! He sure makes us proud! His therapy today consisted of strengthening his core & upper body. They had Tony laying on top of a blue ball with his legs in a sling. He had to push with his arms to roll back & forth. He also did push-ups at this position. What a workout ! Tony met another friend today too , a service dog (yellow lab),named Bentley. He shined to Tony right away & they became good friends. -- for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for his good pleasure. Do all things without complaining and disputing. Phil 2:13-14
