Another concern. Hate even sharing this, but just cant not share it for the need for a plea of prayers. Marti Loves EVD is an extremely sterile, closed system and just having one poses risks. A nurse noticed 2 nights ago there was air in the EVD line which raised some more sore yesterday. Then more air in the line yesterday. After Neuro-surgery examined it closely they found that one of the caps was the wrong one. It had a hole in it, which means the system has been open to the room air. Not a good thing. They replaced the draining system. Obviously people are not happy. Jason and I were told to wait and watch as the CSF (brain fluid) has been sent off to to be tested. She has been extremely tired, run a little fever and right now just feels bad, not necessarily that we think they go together, but when she has new symptoms, we tend to be more concerned. This overall pressure and stress is unreal! These topics of concern we daily deal with are so critical. Seems like we are literally trying to pull Marti Love from relentless satans evil grip. We know satan doesnt win, but Im am tired from the constant struggle.
