Another crappy day in china. Was supposed to get scholarship money today. Didnt come through so I have no money to eat. There was a food festival for foreigners and teachers so my classmates all made food from their country. I went down and saw a friend needed help because she was the only person from her country so I helped her cook African food. And I dont cook so she owes me! Lol. Anyway I figured when we were done id go to get food. Well it just so happened the chinese students caught wind of said festival and showed up in swarms and ate any good food that was prepared. Every time I was in line and was waiting for food 15 would come and surround me and also wait for food then their friends would nudge me out of the way to get closer to being served next until I wasnt in line anymore. This happened at 4 different spots. When I would return to these tables after everyone was cleared out the ingredients had run out and they were packing up for the day. The teachers finally decided to start telling people they shouldnt be there an hour after they had all arrived and the food was gone. I made out with 3 chinese dumplings and a spoonful of rice cause no one wanted chinese food. So I embarrassed myself for nothing by having people take pictures of me attempting to cook all in the hopes of eating something and that never happened. Sincerely, pissed n hungry
