Another day almost over, getting my clothes ready for work tomorrow, time to get back on the grind. There are times in my life where I feel that doing something or trying to help someone better themselves is a waste of time, they think that someone is trying to hurt them or rush them into something, I am 53 years old had a rough life growing up, until the road I took put me somewhere away from my children and family, the only person that I can blame is myself, that was over 25 years ago and now I am proud of the women I am today. If I could enlighten someone in to realizing that the road they are taking is wrong it is all outta love. Life is too damn short to BS your life away. Getting a education and working on a better future is what it takes to make it in this world, we already have a strike against us we are African Americans. They look for us to fail and a lot of our young people out there are giving them just want they want. Stop giving them thugs, drug dealers & user, give them lawyers, doctors, teachers who care about our people, etc. To many senseless killing of our own people by our own people has to stop, killing of our children for something that their parents did is crazy. We need to remember if we reproduce WE NEED TO GIVE OUR CHILDREN SOMEONE TO BE PROUD OF! Just needed to get something off my chest, wishing everyone a blessed night.
