Another day another bit of news. In the immortal words of Jennifer Aniston, here comes the science bit, concentrate. I have a lesion on my left parietal lobe. Thats a polite way of saying I have a suspected brain tumour. Ill know how suspected when I have my operation tomorrow to get it out. Thats right, Im (hopefully) having an operation first thing in the morning (craniotomy if you feel like wiki-ing). And hopefully Ill be back on my feet this time tomorrow. And hopefully Ill be home very soon and life will be returning to normal. Its pretty daunting, its pretty scary, but its all moving very quickly. And thats a good thing. Not much time to sit worrying about things, and it means its going to be done. Quickly. Easily. Harmlessly. And yeah I kind of want to get them to record it and watch it back at some other stage... (Just had that conversation with one of the nurses...) So now you all know. But the main reason for young this up is to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone for their well-wishes and concerns over the last few days. Especially to those of you whove been asking about Dan and my parents as well. It means a lot to know that so many of you have my back and have comments and well-wishes to share, and its really helping to keep me grounded during this difficult time. I really appreciate it and words cannot begin to describe this crazy journey and my gratitude towards the people whove been keeping me company along the way.
