Another day has past us and I know God is here with us every minute. I see him helping Calla Morris Hess to hold that cup all by herself and drink, I see him helping that spoon find her mouth with some yogurt and I see the moments in her eyes that I can just tell He is with her. I know the thought processes are improving when I watch the nurse come in and say hello and she waves to her or when she anticipates what they want by turning in the right direction. Helping her to understand that it will be alright, that He never left her or abandoned her, but instead right now there is a single set of footprints on that beach as He is carrying her until she can once again stand, walk and run on her own. I love my wife so much and I am so grateful for all the support that has been shown for her. I know God has heard every prayer because I have seen the results first hand. I watch her move forward every day and there has not been any set backs. To fully understand what or why this happened is not really for us to know most of the time, ask Job. We can be assured of one thing God loves us so much that He sent his own son to die in our place. I know that there is nothing to impossible for him. I also know that still small voice that I hear assures me that this is going to work out.
