Another day of extreme heat here over 40 yesterday and 43 expected today. Up at 4.30 to get around all the water points and to beat the heat. Was ever so thankful for the air conditioner yesterday. Hate to use it; much prefer natures breezes but yesterdays wind was like stepping into an oven. have a sprinkler on the top of the hens house which is timed to go on for a few minutes every hour. They are every appreciative for it. They have buried into the ground where the water seats. This is our lawn now was once green grass.
