Another day with the man, Rudy! Today I got to spend some more time with Rudy. I was the lucky one who got to transport him from the vet where he has been released for now and to his temporary boarding where Rocio Herrera-Kuehler and Amanda will be giving him some much needed LOVE AND TLC! Once again, Rudy couldnt stop wagging his tail and today, he even took cookies from me and followed me around on a leash. Rudy has a pawsome bedroom suite with a window view where he will be able to rest comfortably and not have to worry where his next meal will come from. His first call to order once in his new digs was to drink as much fresh water as he could, as if it would be his last time. And then his caretaker put a heater in his room to keep him warm. Once he is acclimated, he will have some friends to play with and show him just how beautiful life truly is. He is heartworm positive, is on several medications and will be receiving medicated baths for Demodex during his stay. Rudy told me to let everyone know how grateful he is to you for not judging him by his temporary outer flaws but seeing through to his heart that has so much love to give! A HUGE thank you to Grace Ruiz for not turning a blind eye to a precious soul in need who was dealt the card of street life and our friend Deborah Hoffman and Corridor Rescue Inc. for giving this boy the chance he truly deserves. And most importantly, THANK YOU to everyone who has shared his story and donated for his care. Without you, miracles such as Rudy would not be possible! Rudy knows he has won the MEGA LOTTERY!
