Another episode of Reading the Rosslnd Audit is fun. I am concerned how few people are aware of the serious levels of this audits finding. For me it boils down to the first section of the findings on page 20 - essentially the City was not protecting the interests of the community. That is first and foremost their job. To carry out functions with integrity, safe guarding citizen interests and if something does go wrong to admit to it, figure it out and fix it. That did not happen. One Councillor - Kathy Moore - stood firm and demanded answers and requested this Audit be done. The rest of council, mayor and staff were either apathetic or resistant to a discovery process. I am reading these segments as I feel I can do this without too much personal opinion- I am just reading facts from the audit - albeit with an extreme edge of sarcasm to hopefully make it entertaining for you.
