Another example of the disgusting nature of human beings, this time in Denmark. While the Faroe Islands annual slaughter started nearly 500 years ago as a source of food for inhabitants of the northern islands, it is now known that the level of mercury in these creatures makes them unsuitable for human consumption. The massacre now serves as a community event, a gathering that encourages teens to prove their manhood to friends & family by torturing & murdering these innocent animals. Over 1,000 are killed here EVERY YEAR, while NO human has EVER been harmed from these gentle giants.
