Another excellent meeting of the Torry Heritage Group at Old Torry Community Centre this afternoon. Several new members, loads of new photos, and someone even brought in a fascinating book marking the first fifty years of Torry Academy (Torry Intermediate School), 1927-1977. The next meeting will be in two weeks time, as usual. One of the pictures that has surfaced is this one of the Torry Church (Victoria Road) choir, circa 1943. The choir-mistress is Pearl Wood, but can anyone identify any of the other people?
