Another excerpt from OWaC: Antarid and his messengers put down - TopicsExpress

Another excerpt from OWaC: Antarid and his messengers put down their food and made their way up the plank. Once inside, the convesium vessel rose from the floor, and the Weaver guided it into the morning sky. A warm breeze and the northern view of the Warpass greeted the sixteen travelers. The Airship quickly descended and darted between the large buildings of the central Sarkrean homeland. The Sarkrean people went about their daily activities as the sun rose. Women and children headed off to the water wells for the first of many, daily trips to attain the convesium-laced liquid. A large contingent of overnight partiers were making their way home, stumbling about the streets, fondling each other and yelling at the top of their lungs. The ship traveled south, and Antarid looked to the horizon and thought of the past. This land was not the same land his grandfather had spoken of, and he wondered if those days would ever return. The stories the men of action like his grandfather told had conveyed a sense of dignity and respect, reverence and pride. But all that had vanished. Today, the clenched-fist, oppressive rule of the current Pantheona did nothing more than create a fearful, anarchistic citizenry. emprenbazaar/
