Another fave from The Enchanted Forest. The Monkey from The Jungle Adventure Ride from The Enchanted Forest! This piece was found, and had been painted with crazy colored stripes on it. Myself and Linda Harrison Gardner, restored this piece. It was sanded down, primed and repainted its original colors. The black was added to showcase the texture, by using an antiquing technique, where the main color of paint ( brown ), is painted on, let dry, then painted over with black paint. While the black paint is still wet, it is then wiped off, but it stays in the grooves of the piece. He is still hanging from his original cable. He is now displayed in the Clarks Elioak Farms entrance/gift shop building.
