Another favorable Dutch review of Burn & Shine!!! The South Austin Moonlighters have two outstanding guitarists, Josh Zee and Phil Hurley, complementing each other and their solo dueling its a delight. They also have a love of sixties music and pyschelica. And all four members write and sing, at times like Crosby, Stills & Nash. All of those ingredients in Burn & Shine make this CD just as timeless as classic great CDs of the past. With all four members contributing songs and lead vocal duties, one might fear that we would end up with a convoluted grab bag of mismatched tunes. Instead, the South Austin Moonlighters have crafted a wonderfully diverse, yet satisfying blend of styles and sounds that end up being something completely new and refreshing.
