Another fun day in the woods! Tyler got to learn how to shoot a BB gun...we went on a turtle hunt that did not result in any turtles!!!! Tomorrow is the big 4th of July celebration and turtle race in Noxon....there must be an enterprising young person that has hidden all the turtles and will sell them at the side of the road!! ;) Disappointed we decided to come back to the ranch and we hike down the bank and through an old road. Tyler: MOM, look!! There are prehistoric plants right here!!!! From the dinosaur times. Me: Really!?!? Where? Tyler: RIGHT HERE!!!! Me: looking ahead as I catch up...(Tyler is standing in the middle of a huge patch of ferns as tall as he is!) *grinning*. Tyler, those are ferns. Tyler: ferns are prehistoric! That is so cool! ;).
