Another good day at our adoption event, although VERY windy & cold! I have been thinking all day about how badly we NEED FOSTERS in order to help all of these dogs that are sitting in shelters or being dumped and neglected on the streets but at the same time I cannot stop from feeling so extremely GRATEFUL for the foster moms and dads that we have now. They REALLY make a lot of sacrifices to be foster parents! They give of their precious time and money to come all the way to our events, feed their rescue good, quality food and treats, they sacrifice their normal routines and schedules to accommodate another dog or two in their home! They are caregivers, trainers and advocates for these little lives! They are AMAZINGLY selfless and rarely get the recognition or credit that they earn each day by giving our rescues a temporary, LOVING home until they are adopted. So this is our THANK YOU, we APPRECIATE YOU, you are SO IMPORTANT to us and these pups! It will never be enough but we hope you know how admirable you truly are!
